This stripper/cutter has been individually dielectrically tested, and has hardened spring steel with precision-ground stripping holes for easy removal of insulation. This is a compact, lightweight wire-stripping, cutting tool and gauges, cuts, strips and loops wire. It is spring-loaded for self-opening and its narrow nose fits into tight places. klein insulated tools exceed IEC 60900 and ASTM F1505 standards for insulated tools, and are clearly marked with the official 1000-Volt rating symbol. This tool also has two layers of insulation to protect against electrical shock. This tool is not to be used for cutting steel wire or bolts
